Junhui Wang was born in Zhejiang, China, in 1969. He received the B.E. degree in Biology and the master degree in Genetics from Hangzhou University in 1993, and then he received the Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 1998, being awarded an excellent doctoral thesis of Zhejiang University. From 2000 to 2001, he studied in Department of Plant Sciences, University of Cambridge, UK, as a visiting scholar. From then on, he is an associate Professor in College of Life Sciences, Zhejiang University (ZJU). Currently, Dr. Wang is the vice director of Institute of Genetics and Regenerative Biology, Zhejiang University, and the vice director, Genetics Society of Zhejiang Province China.
