Dr Jixi Li received his PhD in Genetics from Fudan University in 2006 and undertook postdoctoral researches at Caltech, Cornell Medical College, and Harvard Medical School, USA from 2006-2014. He is currently the Chief Scientist of the Key Research and Development Project form MOST, China.
Professor Li’s research focuses on the structural basis and molecular mechanism of cell programmed death (necrosis, pyroptosis), inflammation, and the crosstalk between cell death and neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease).
